I am shouting it from the rooftops...

Last night I had an interesting experience... I was at a company dinner with my man and I had a prize, an apron, to give one of the girls that was there. Her name is Jen and she is a fellow blogger. She grabbed her camera and wanted a photo for her blog. Everyone around there started asking about it and I got all embarrassed and shy about it. I felt dumb about these people ( my man's boss, and other colleagues) finding out that I was a blogger. One guy even said, "Well, I have never met a blogger before!"(I did ask if he wanted my autograph...He didn't.) Some of them even logged on with their phones right there...HOW FUNNY. I don't know why I was so embarrassed. I think I just like my own blogging peeps to know...people that do what I do. I started thinking about why I blog...hmmmmm. I have decided that I am not going to feel dumb... I like to do it! Iam going to be loud and proud...YIKES!

You are a hoot! Not proud to be a blogger, huh? Actually, I have been in similar situations! Tough deal, but be proud! We love our Amy blogger! I love how it is its own little world and not everyone knows about it!

I know. Sometimes I get all weirded out about who may be reading my blog. And then other times I'm wondering why I don't have enough comments.

It's funny that we'll talk amongst strangers that we've made as blog friends but when someone you actually knows wants to read it you almost feel embarassed. Not sure why?!? ;)

If Andy and I COULD have come, then I would have been there to back you up! You know how you back Caylor up when he's confronting Rebecca.
Wish I could be there! Take lots of pictures, so I can be jealous!

You crack me up! Good story! I don't really tell anyone publicly that I blog either. Blogs are weird/cool because there is no way that we would have met anyother way and here we are "talking"! You are too fun!

I'm new to blogging but, I've thought about this topic often. This is what I've come up with:
1)I like 'meeting' people I wouldn't have otherwise known
2)I like being 'semi-anonymous'
and
3)I would probably deny it if someone confronted me with my true identity.

Shout it girl! I have had a similar experience where I told someone I blogged then felt embarrassed afterwards, but it is fun and I do enjoy it just like you.

I blog; I don't care who knows. If they make fun, it's out of jealousy and lack of creativity. That is what I have decided. Ryan made so much fun of it for awhile, and now he asks about it all the time, has his friends logging on to my blog, and encourages me to snap photos for my next post. So, who cares girl! It is part of your life that you are generously sharing with those who care to know a bit more. Embrace it! I love it!

Oh Amy! I am sorry if I embarassed you! I really didn't even think about it, I was so excited for my prize!

I do love my apron! Thank you! You really are such a sweetheart and it was so good to see you! I love watching you, because everyone at conference is always drawn to you...whenever I saw you last week, you were surrounded by people.
