Last week I got the most amazing package from my blesbian blover Tanja.

She is just the cutest thing...EVER!

The package included a darling D platter... a great candle lantern and the cutest card ever that said, " You're one sick puppy"... That is why I like you so!

She Really Does Exist!

She Really Does Exist... The wonderful and TOTALLY darling Tammy!

I met her equally darling sister, Colette, at Tonia's holiday boutique and told her if Tammy ever did brave the cold to call me and we would surprise her...

I called a few people that I know IRL and we all met Tammy for the first time!

She is cute and funny and everything I would expect and more!

A little more quiet than I would have thought...

( But with me, Tiburon, Melissa, & Vanessa who could get a word in edge wise?)

She was so much fun to hang out with!

Tammy, Collete, & I even saw a movie together...

You guessed it... "Confessions of a Shopaholic"

Tammy likes to shop.. I like to shop... it was a fitting movie!

We had a fabulous lunch and I am so glad to finally know Tammy!

Her sister updated her FB account by saying " Collete had a fabulous day running around with Tam and her imaginary friends"

Tammy is better in person that she is in "invisible"

She even hooked us up with glam notbooks... she is so cute.

What is better than friends bearing gifts? Not much!

( or we all need to leave the 60 degree spring and head to Arizona for a little 85 degree spring)

Sherry, from Creations from my Heart, entered an apron contest and WON!

Her gorgeous, totally dressy apron appears in this month's Apron-ology magazine!

I told her I wanted to wear it to a fancy schmancy party, but then realized I don't have anything THAT fancy schmancy... It is beautiful! She is so talented and so creative.... I want to be her when I grow up! Congrats to Sherry... What an accomplishment!

I don't think this apron is for when you cook spaghetti sauce...

The answer to the question you've all been dying to know... Yes! Tanja is just as darling kindof so dang cute and tiny that you hate her and sweet and fabulous in real life as you have come to realize by reading her blog!

I know this is an OLD blog according to Mindi, but I was out of town and basically out to lunch. I stole the photos because I loved the one of us looking to see if we got our best side.

We had such a great time! Viv didn't know what to think about meeting someone over the internet... she was worried that she was going to be some kind of wierdo cyber crazy that was going to kill Mindi and I. I am so glad she wasn't! I am currently trying to get Tanja to move closer, but I think we might have scared her a bit...we were a few of the first Mormons she had ever met. Just kidding.... she is so dang cute and I think she even liked us. Plus... I totally want to be her friend because she was riding sweet in a private jet. The lunch was good, the scenery was amazing, the company was beyond wonderful... a true success! We will have to get her to visit one weekend for a blogger retreat!

Blogging is such a great thing! Sherry from Creations from My Heart sent me the cutest little valentine thank-you gift today. It made my whole week! Before Christmas I sent her part of an apron pattern she had lost and she sent it back with a cute little prize. She is so talented and SOOOO creative. What a gem, what a pearl! Thanks, Sherry- I LOVED IT!

The pin cusion is so dang cute, but Sherry is the queen of presentation... It came all wrapped in pink tissue paper and in a matching gift bag! I love this girl!
Anyone who says blogging doesn't pay doesn't know the great people I 've met in the blogosphere... My blogging Buddies are the best!

CELEBRATE!

Is this something to celebrate or what? I totally lucked out today and scored lunch with Kami! I had met her one other time, but have been a huge fan of her blog... her cute little kids... her magazine star quality, but most importantly...HER! We had a great time just laughing and chatting... She is so dang cute and such a sweet, fun person to talk to!

Blogging has allowed me to meet so many new friends... some I have met in real life and others that are really old ,weird men that are preying on the young, hot, innocent mothers that are longing for friendship and comments from Mindi -just in the computer or maybe just in my own mind. Whatever... I am glad I blog and I am glad to have met some amazing people...

Thanks Kami for the great lunch date... let's do it again!

I could have won the Nobel Prize in EVERYTHING!

In the time it would have taken to cure AIDS, balance and payoff the National Deficit, Conquer world hunger, and find Osama Bin Ladin... I attempted a little nip and tuck on the old blog. Anyone who doesn't blog loves to say to anyone who does..." I just don't have the time to do THAT" or "Where do you find all your time to 'play' on the computer... I have children to care for" and usually I laugh and say that I do it for only about an hour a day ( Okay so I minimize it a tad) but today... I put in a full time job worth of work on this bloody thing. I though it was going to be a quick little project! I consulted with a professional, my new Blogging Idol- Vanessa, and she explained how easy it was to do. I tried it for a good long time and then I got desperate and called her on the phone. This was the first time I had actually REALLY talked to her and I didn't even have time to be nervous or mess around with the preliminaries- I was at my wits end and I knew she could help. We had a great chat and after 3 phone calls and her thinking I am a total IDIOT... I just begged her to do it for me. She helped a poor train wreck out and now I have a new look. I did do the header, but she had to step in and assist me with the main body. Sooooo... needless to say I am kindof embarrassed that on my first meeting I showed how lame I really am. Good things did come of it though... We chatted for a while and I found out that we were almost room-mates at SUU ( well...except for the fact that I was married and she attended 3 years after I left and I didn't even live in Cedar City at the time she was there... minor details!) The paralleling didn't end there...we both were teachers, her daughter's name is Vivian ( they call her Vivi) and you all know that I know a Viv, We both lived in Idaho ( opposite ends of the state, but who cares... the gem state is the gem state!), and we both have fun, outgoing, energetic mothers. We are practically twins that were separated at birth! Well it was a crazy day, but I did get a new look! I think I am going to like it! If you don't...please don't burst my bubble- it took me ( and Vanessa...well, mostly Vanessa) all day ( and all night) to do it! Thanks, Vanessa... I owe you one!

Ta Da... my 100th Post!

Yeah! It is my 100th post and I really celebrated it with a blogabration with a few of my fav-O-rite bloggers. ( I know this happened a few days ago...but I had to party with the bloggin' babes, get my life organized to head out of town, jump in the car and drive to St. George, and then work really hard to put on ANOTHER party. My dad's 60th birthday party...attended by 50+ people- so I have been busy) I had a little gathering at mi casa and we had such a fun time. Several people even brought me presents- it totally took me back to elementary school b-day parties- I was such a rockstar! Marla got me this darling clock to commemorate my 100th blog... SO CUTE!

Tonia and Marla hooked us up with some cupcakes that really were over the Tipsy Top... nobody even needed introductions as to who they were... it was obvious!

This is a really close up photo of Tonia and I... some people think we look alike- If only I could be so luck...plus she is WAAAAAY older than I !( She is having a b-day this next week and mine is in December so really only 4 mos. older...he he)

I knew everyone that was coming so I wasn't that nervous- they already know what a ding bat I am. We ate, and laughed, and had a really fun time! I was so glad as many came... they are all so dang cute! THis is who was there: (Back Left to right) Chalyce, Kris, Marla, Collette, Tonia... (Bottam Left to right) Kourtney, Andrea, Holly, Me (and I am not really THAT fat), Shannon. I missed a few people that either lived REALLY far away, didn't get the message, had a sick baby, had to work, or just couldn't make it... or just really thought I was a looney stalker and refrained. Thanks to all that made the trek to come celebrate with me! Some of you are old friends...new again & some of you are new blogging friends that I SO dig. I love everyone that showed up- THANKS AGAIN!

p.s. It is sooo late and I just put on and cleaned up my 2nd rip roarin' party of the week and I am tired so ...please forgive me that I didn't link to all the blogs of the babes that were here... they are all on my side bar- go check them out from there! They don't disappoint!

Sweet Sixteen?

Am I 16 today? I just wondered because I just met Holly from TheSaratogaFam for lunch and to give her the apron she won on my blog & I was as nervous all morning... it was as if I were going on my first date at 16. I was worried... I wanted to look cute and make a good first impression... HOW LAME AM I? I can proudly announce that I am part of the 21st century... I met someone online and met them in person. I was so happy she is really as darling in real life as she is on her blog and not some scary predator that was going to nab me from Cheesecake Factory. Collette and I both went and had such a good time. It was funny... we just met and sat down and then were like old friends. The blog made it so we didn't have to get to know each other. We even fessed up to what confession was ours on Mindi's Confession Booth within the first 5 minutes of meeting.( I could tell you what we both said, but then I would have to kill you and that might get messy) When she contacted me with her info to send her the apron she won, we decided to just meet instead. It was such a fun time. I think I talked both of their heads off.... Collette has known me for a long time and she is still around so I hope I didn't scare Holly of so soon.
